Now, the necons take over The New York Times. I've been reading the paper b4 class this fall, and
each week it became less interesting. Twice, this week, I've told my husband we should cancel
our subscription. He likes the crossword puzzle so he resists for now.

By the way, the Times does not, in my opinion, like Howard Dean.

On December 18, I saw Phillip Gold, Ph.D on KCTS CONNECTS.
" Dr. Gold is a former Marine and professor at Georgetown University.
He is currently an author, writer and defense analyst.
A well-regarded conservative, he brings his expertise in the military and world affairs."

He said it may take a generation b4 Iraq is a peaceful place so the United
States could be in Iraq for 25 or 30 years.

Dr. Gold mentioned that Bush is looking into the resurrection of the draft. We have 10 divisions and two more will be sent abroad next year.
I am not sure if these are National Guard divisions. I don't recall.

Since the United States armed forces are stretched to the limit, It is likely that Bush will re-start the draft!
