Hi Harry; I know you are a technical type guy and this question is of a more fundamental nature.

Do you place much negative emphasis on a stock if a director/officer sells the majority of his/her stock?

Case in point, Lam Research (LRCX), since 10/28/03, James Bagley CEO has sold 807,000 shares (has 243,000 left).

On the news 12/16/03 that Lam was going to be placed in the NASDAQ-100 index, Bagley has this comment;
"We are honored to be included in the Nasdaq-100 Index," stated James W. Bagley, Lam's chairman and chief executive officer. "This milestone validates Lam's position as a core holding for global technology investors and reflects our continued progress and success in establishing the Company as a recognized industry leader."

Sounds like Mr. Bagley wants the shares to be core holdings for everyone but him.
