A little further down in the Post's TV Column is this tidbit: <<Had CBS not run from its miniseries "The Reagans" when Reagan fans complained, it would have totaled six nominations to become the third-most nominated network -- behind HBO's 20 and NBC's 10 -- and there might have been a broadcast network represented in the long-form races. Instead, Showtime took in the orphaned project and picked up two Globe nominations, for stars Judy Davis and James Brolin, bringing that pay cable network's tally to seven and bumping CBS out of third place.>> There's a chuckle in there somewhere...
