I don't care what it costs. My kids will pay for it.

"Monday evening, Taylor used a public meeting to bring attention to the growing public debt, which requires a $1 billion per day interest payment. Republican budgets are looting the Social Security and Medicare trust funds, Taylor said, and the national debt is growing at a record pace.

"No one would buy a car and say, 'I don't care what it costs. My kids are going to pay for it,'

" he said."

I don't think Clark and Dean are a good fit. Yes, Dean needs Clark but they are so different Clark's presence on the ticket might high-light that instead of heal it. Like Bentsen did not help Dukakis.

Clark now has the best chance to beat Dean. If he ends up in the #2 position with enough delegates I could see him teaming with the #3 candidate before he teams with Dean. Who knows though, anything can still happen. Not a single vote has been cast.
