This isn't complicated. Don't cut spending now, because we need it to get the economy back on track. Don't raise taxes now because we need to keep them under control to help the economy get back on track. When the economy is booming again the income from taxes will increase significantly. And, with the economy healthy, we will be able to make the budget cuts that should have been made a long time ago (ie. when Clinton was in office). Result. A healthy economy and a reduction of the debt. Dave
