Re-read the post I sent you last. I am critical of Israel and Sharon in particular.

You seem to read only what you want to read.

You also seem to think that all Israelis think with one mindset. It's been comically claimed that every Jew has two opinions on the same topic.

Israelis want peace and the vast majority would trade land for defensible borders and a real peace.

You take extremist views and claim that every Israeli thinks that way.

I have posted that I believe that the vast majority of Palestinians want to live in peace, not necessarily in their ancestral home. The famous poll that was taken a few months ago indicated this. (Remember the pollster was attacked physically for reporting this?)

The difference is that Hamas and the other terrorist organizations have real power. The extremists in Israel have very little power or credibility. As I posted before, Sharon would not have come to power but for the terror. When you are under attack, you tend to vote for someone who can meet fire with fire.

PS - I would give the same fate to extremists like the Israeli assassin of Rabin and the nut who opened fire in the Temple Mount as I would to Palestinian suicide bombers and those who encourage them. In fact, put them in the same cage and let them at each other.
