The Palestinians took no part in the original fighting. They were busy being driven out in 47/48. The ones doing the fighting were governments like Egypt, Syria etc. Israel and Egypt made a most profitable peace treaty with my tax dollars. Israel has NOT been most kind to the Palestinians. The current infantada (spelling?) started when Sharon went to the Temple Mount. Initially it was rock throwing. Suicide bombing started a bit later.
