That is an excellent post. I feel strongly that corruption and fraud need to be rooted out of governmental programs. I abhor corporate welfare, as you suggest, and welfare that is abused by much of the current system. While in school, I lived in the same community with many great people who were on welfare. They seemed to know the days that the "husbands" had to hide. They all had great furniture, stereos, etc., while I was dusting off my furniture which was largely boxes and electrical cable tables. They knew how to take advantage of the system. They were very nice people but it's a system that begs for fraud.
