Happy Saturday, JP

you bet I'm a Mariner's fan. Cirillo has been such a disaster in Seattle, I feel sorry for the guy, he is very hard on himself... he actually has quite a good sense of humor, but I was kind of amazed by him nixing that trade. He had asked to be traded, and very few teams want him. Most likely, the Mariners will just release him, and eat his contract. If any team picks him up, the Mariners would then have to still pay his salary, except for $300k which the signing team would be responsible for. He has been such a drag on this team, I am amazed that he didn't jump to move on and not continue to be such a black hole. Seattle is his home town, too!

Pro sports is losing me quickly, as a fan. Football is almost insufferable to watch with all of the posing and ego. It just reflects our me/me culture...I am constantly amazed by how so many of these super rich individuals are so inwardly focused.

After traveling in SE Asia, coming home to watch this stuff, it really turns me off.

If want to look into one of the good ones on the Mariners, look at Jamie Moyer, he is an outstanding individual. He is a tireless worker for many charitable causes. That man is a jewel.....hell of a pitcher, too.

Have a great weekend, my friend. Off to check my list...
