OY! Yes Padilla is Puerto Rican but he is also al quaeda. If his name was mohammed then the race/religion issue would be made by some. My point is that in this war and under this admin, american moslems have not been treated badly or persecuted, although some have been detained not in the ordinary way. And what i did was to try to compare this good treatment to FDR and the Japanese internment which most now agree was a bad thing. I guess i didnt make that clear in my earlier post. Those being held or detained now are being held for a reason, not indiscriminately as they were in ww2. If it is proved to me that Bush is just arresting moslems to intimidate all of them, i will be the first one to protest. Mike
