I have only been following him since 2000, and I bet Schaeffer does a lot better in that test..

Again, not justifying his trading picks, I knew they've been spotty..

On a 10 year, those who were aggressively bullish, and only took a few arrows on the way out obviously top that pack..a lot of very bright guys/traders did not load up in 98, 99, early 00...seeing the parabolic thingy going on...it was a pure momo, and those steeped in market history had difficulty buying those last few years..

Not trying to be an apologist for Schaeffer, Fleck, or Jimmy Rogers (or Grant), but i think they are worth having in your arsenal to understand what's really going on...late 90s, it was easier to be dumb and make money
