Lugar is a loser. He's allowed his party to totally sell its soul to the devil. He knows better than many just how phony the trumped up charges were against Sadddam Hussein. I'll bet you he knows that Republican operatives were involved in the planning and execution of 9/11. But he's cowed by an unreasonable sense of loyalty to a criminal head of his party. He'll be the sort that we look at in 10 years after Bush has illegally invaded a few more countries and wonder how he could have allowed such moral turpitude to besmirch his otherwise fine career. Loyalty is a demand of the Bushies, exactly as it was for Hitler and the National Socialists. It exonerates them from having to have a conscience.
