People many times have no clue how deep they can cut. The reaction is always "emergent needs",crisis lol, but they live with it in short time. I have seen cocky business managers lose money intentionally and actually think they had that right. People in positions in government as well as public corporations many times begin to think it is My office, my company and My employees. They are quite startled when you take it all away. I have had that pleasure from time to time.

The fat is all being given away to the fat cats.
That is the tragedy. Middleclass services are being cut while the rich get a double dip bonanza, especially if they contribute to Bush-cheney.
