The casulties of Iraq have not yet finished being counted. The war is not over when Junior parades around a carrier with his underwear in a sling. The war is over when the parties decide to quit fighting. It's not over yet.

The same holds true in Palestine. Unilateral action is not the end of the situation. Unless Israel is ready to press to the "final solution" they will ultimately have to negotiate an end. It could easily be another 50 years before a generation that is ready to have peace arises.
