Soylent Green is Irrelevant

With 1/4 to 1/3 of the entire population of the U.S. on anti-depressants, it is not only relevant, it is a driving force in the stupefied lack of consciousness of the public. Drugs are being used to keep the population docile, just as Aldous Huxley envisioned in "Brave New World" with Soma. It's real. It's happening now. And it ought to scare the hell out of people who are concerned about the future of real democracy. Not the jingoistic fantasy version that Bush is peddling today.
