This is a point of historical fact that the left has managed to totally revise away. The Democrats have been in shock for close to a decade, with no indication that a single one of them has ever even read the Contract.

The Contract simply stated that, given power in the House, the Republicans would force VOTES on the 10 issues-which the corrupt Democrat poltroons had always stifled. They did, and most of them passed the House. Unlike the lying criminal, William the Bastard, Newt Gingrich made promises he could keep...
