Unless we approach the holidays with a unique sense of awe in the world, with a sober awareness that God's promise to America is contingent on our responsibility to make the most of ourselves as persons, each and every form of salvation will elude us. While I appreciate the theme of the Louis Bere's commentary the bolded phrase above scares the hell out me. God talks to the US? Its that type of thing that IMO that gets the Arabs into deep doodoo. Allah tells us.....brrrrr! I hope it was a slip on Louis part. I do however have a practical but not so uplifting Christmas message for everyone.......buy gold. Cheers C
