Then maybe you can explain why Bush's OMB and the Republican CBO both say the debt went down for 4 years in a row: 98-01. And Newt Gingrich also claimed that we ran surpluses.

The Times Square debt clock ran backwards for quite a while under Clinton. Sorry but take it up with the clock. And quit trying to revise history. I am so sick of Bushies trying to dispute Clinton's economic success and at the same time try to share credit in it when they absolutely opposed his policies. If you dislike debt take it up with the GOP which has piled on 1.5 trllion extra in four years with no end in sight.
