I already posted a site for the debt clock. Find it and see for yourself. You're using a technicality to try and take away the fact Clinton paid down the debt. You accuse him of using a technicality but you use one yourself. I'd prefer to take the debt clock's word for it. They're the experts. There is a big right-wing movement now to try and revise history to erase all of Clinton's successes. It is a cynical and dishonest enterprise indeed. No doubt most people were better off during the clinton years. Lowest unemployment of our lifetimes versus Bush's mnassive spending, low revenues now jobs economy. A recepe for disaster when it comes time to pay the piper. Bush's policies will wipe out Social Security.
