might be pretty depressing to know the truth about Sadam, Iraq and Bush. Whenever I hear the polls, I think ... America is full of idiots -- prior to Sadam's capture, there was at least an equal split on the war -- but after -- 2/3's think it was a good thing -- everybody forgot about the supposed justification?? WMDs??

But maybe it is jsut the polls that make it appear this way??

Never was any WMDs -- what was the real reason we went over there?? heckifIknow ...I'm afraid I wouldn't like it, if I did.

At any rate, Bush chose lies about the economy, early on, rather than reality and has expanded government at a breakneck speed to paper over the truth -- he may be many things -- but he is NO champion of freedom. He is a champion of economic control and that exterted for those he favors ...

I may vote for the other socialist party in 2004 -- just to hope there will be some more fiscal restraint -- I like the way some guy put it on NPR -- Democrats hold the line (a little) on spending to fight against their bad reputation as Big spenders -- Reupublicans go ape on spending to show they are "compassionate."

We've reached the pt where every problem supposedly can be solved by legislation or some judge's de facto legislation -- everything is a problem for the government to fix. That and this new love of imperialism, the remaking of the world -- signal the zenith of what made America great ... painful to watch, but that's where we are at.
