Excuse me! Where did I say NOT to build in wireless? I bought a Dell laptop 6 months ago, and built in 802.11G, which I said was about $40 extra. We will disagree on B versus G. Distance versus speed depends upon intended use which in my case is predominantly LAN of less than 150 feet, and it works perfectly. My security concerns question greater distances which makes the network more vulnerable.
