I am of the firm opinion that polls are done as much to influence public opinion as to monitor it. JMO. I am also cynical about how such a poll was done. There is a lot of power in the way in which the questions are asked. Now if I found out that they asked the exact same questions each time, that might make me feel more confident the poll was not motivated.

Maybe they'll come out in droves and give Republicans 61 senators so there can be some positive changes for the country. Justices can be appointed so the legal system can function normally again. No more filibustering issues which are central to our nation. I hope you're right.
