I don't think the Seals involved are going to enjoy the duty.

SEALS will not be permanent live-aboards.

In 1972 my team made a daylight parachute rendezvous with the USS Threadfin at sea. We tread water for about 90 minutes waiting for the sub to pass under us. Then we dove straight for the lock-in chamber. Some had to wait inside the conning tower where SCUBA tanks were waiting for them as the chamber did not hold all of us. Later that night, we departed while still submerged. The sub remained submerged for the entire operation.

These techniques are still in practice today.
