I never knew that there is a french race out there <gggg> The French are not actually another race. It is a subspecies. (joke) Their arrogance is born of envy. They hate Spain and England as well. I believe the great thorn was their relative equality of power on the seas in the late 16 and 1700s. They resent becoming a "lesser" power to the colonies as well as the world. They were not unlike the Germans in their lust for conquest around the world and on their own continent. France is synonymous with arrogance. It is not a recent thing. Not a new fad we are discovering. It has been that way for many many years. If France didn't have tourism, it would just be an upscale liquor store where you could get cheese, crackers and the latest cocktail party fad food contraption. They do however have a very strong tradition of excellent mercenaries and intelligence services. They would be just fine if the politicians weren't always worried about losing their heads. ;) Another tradition.
