Guess I missed this...Loral satellite accident report clarified
A Dec. 4 accident in Boeing’s Kent, Wash., facility resulted in
damage to a Loral Space & Communications satellite being
readied for shipment to the customer. The facility in question is
owned by Boeing and rented by Loral. Boeing personnel were not
involved in the events leading up to the accident or the accident
itself. Loral has responded to media queries with a statement
“Loral was responsible for handling the spacecraft” in question.
Boeing regrets that any member of the space community suffers
an accident resulting in damage or delay, since such events
affect the entire community and not just the single element
directly involved.
