Maybe Wall Street has one thing right this year.

I did some last minute shopping this morning and stopped at the high end men’s shop here in Wayzata. The shop is locally owned. This fellow is in the business where people go that want custom suits and shirts. He carries mostly Italian things for his customer base and the custom suits are mostly silk. Anyway, he said his Christmas business is up 40% this year. He did not do all that bad last year since there is a lot of old money in the Wayzata area. Soooo looks like the folks with money are feeling good about the future of their assets.
