i don't know that it's so much complacency, as a matter of how much can an ordinary citizen do? as such, while it's important for the law enforcement and intelligence agencies to be vigilant, i think it's equally important for the rest of us to live and enjoy our lives without worrying about such things....why let them ruin our lives with fear? that's just helping them accomplish what they are trying to achieve certainly there is the possibility that something happens again, and if it does the markets will drop, and people will "cocoon" again for a while, but if you live and invest as if another attack is imminent, terrorism changes from something that may happen once in a while to something that affects you every single day, clearly in a significantly negative way carl
