aman....well....not exactly....the Stocks for 2004 choices are based on a combination of...what they do, where they are priced, how close they may be to making a good move, and what kind of radar image they have. So yes I am looking for eventual significant capital appreciation from these stocks. And I will have a list of maybe stocks that COULD turn out to perform better than those I have put out in brief thumbnail sketches. You NEVER know what investors are going to gravitate to, altho that is what you try and learn every day.

Portfolio makers are a little different. They are a seat of the pants type of call...based on nothing more than experience. Some have been right on, some not...it is a stock that has a certain angle that if developed could result in very significant gains.

All in all trying to gauge the riskreward in these stocks right now is very difficult. We are in a different environment than just a few weeks ago. I think this churning and weakness will pass in the micros immediately as we turn the year, if not before. But it is making things tougher in making the calls.
