I have not been a Marine, but have always admired them since I was 6 years old during WW2. I used to run around the yard and yell "Over the top" like John Wayne did in some movie.

Is this where the Navy's gate guards are going to hang out:) We were at the country club Christmas party on Saturday. Young man with his parents home on leave and in dress uniform. Marines do have the sharpest dress uniforms by the way. Anyhow my wife walked up to him and shook his hand and said thank you for all that you do. Kid said this happens to him all the time when in uniform now. I was very happy to hear that as it was not the case when I was in the Navy in late 70's to mid 80's.
