I will try to get back to this later this week re: us reaction. At present i know israel was penalized 4 or 5 million dollars in loans or loan guarantees. Am unsure. US opposition appears to be PC rather than real. I am certain sharon has filled admin in on the true purpose of the wall. With likud leaders talking unilateral pull backs on the ground and with the wall going up and with an ngo peace treaty just signed, the area is in flux to say the least. mike
