Davis being kicked out shows that the people are mad at Bush

Rhetorical misconstruction. I didn't say that. They were mad at Davis.

I don't know if your misconstruction of my statement is purposeful or inadvertant, but fwiw, it's the fed-up insurgence itself to be cognizant of.

That's much different than your out-of-the-blue ridiculous statement that "they kicked out Davis because they were mad at Bush". That insurgence will work against Bush if it's ignored.

An example is Rove's grinning while holding up the "We Want Dean" sign, which now shows he misunderstood the campaign. Like you, the GOP misconstrues everything that doesn't follow their playbook.

The common mistake is assuming populist voters confuse superficial rhetoric with substance. They don't.

That's why out-of-context quotes and rhetorical attacks on Dean miss the mark. There's plenty in his positions that can be argued with, but no one is even attempting elevate the debate to that level, preferring rhetorical misconstruction, etc., hoping to sway opinion with other opinion, rather than facts.
