I saw the comment indicating that the trading was extremely thin today.

Until the weather forecasts are firmed up and the data is released who knows who will be trading. I would expect some action on Wednesday. I think the contract closes within one hour of the EIA data release.

I just hope the major consumers locked in prices when they were much lower. I dont want to test demand destruction and fuel switching in January.

I see the September Texas RRC data is quite weak, even after adjusting it.

Bid Week close is on Monday. We have another EIA number to scramble across before then.

But I am as cynical as you regarding those who would try to 'manage' the number.
