Chris, Thanks for the link. Good article. I would have like to see him expand the "hearts and minds" point to the remaining part of the Muslim world. Are we winning the hearts and minds of the Muslims in Chechnya, Indonesia, and the Arab world with this venture into Iraq? Indications are that we're losing those as well. Rummy had a pretty good question in his well publicized memo. Paraphrase: How do we know whether we're winning or losing the war on terrorism? At the moment it appears the Administration is using the metric: if terrorism goes down, we're winning; if terrorism goes up, we're winning [they're desparate]. Seems like a loaded metric. jttmab
