Limtex,

re: What makes you so sure that Institutions have much better info than we have?

Not all research is public research. There are people who spend every day estimating the quantities of wafers, the bin splits, the defect rations of all the fabs, and plotting demand curve v. the capacity curve. These are not the high profile analysts that are in the limelight, these are industry experts. There are billions at stake and information is currency, yet even they are wrong sometimes.

re: What do you mean SNDK has overperformed.

V. the indexes.

re: Are you suggeting that people shouldn't be allowed to buy stocks whose historic P/E rise above a level that you consider reasonable? Should it be illegal for individuals to pay over a certain P/E? And while we are at it should it be illegal ot pay over a certain price for a painting or a super bowl ticket?

I'm suggesting caution to the many fine folks that I've shared this thread with over the years. I don't know if the stock is going to go up or down. There is a lot of discussion on the thread about all the things that are going right; I think that ought to be balanced by the things that could be going wrong.
