I have been trying to short what seem to be broken - or, breaking - stocks and sectors, and was trying to get out "gracefully" when they seemed to "recover" (g). For the most part it was a waste of time. Made me more skillful at doing the stupid thing, but that's about it. Since I don't trust the bullish side, and the bearish side is hard and treacherous (read - still countertrend) , the best thing would be to take a vacation.
