Sorry...I think you are in denial....when it comes to spending...I don't see any heros on either side of the aisle....

I've said from the very beginning that when it comes to the overall federal budget, there is no correlation between spending increases and which party controls Congress. And I've backed that up.

When it comes to "pork" there is a correlation between party and spending...the GOP outspends the Democrats exponentially.

Look to the President's budget for spending patterns, e.g., in the FY 2004 budget, Congress did a cross the board cut of 0.6% [round off error] so they could fund the pork. It's Bush's budget.

Just to piss you off....the only time in the last 40 years when spending per taxpayer went down [from the prior Administration] was during the Clinton Administration [$13,972]... Carter only missed being lower by $175, virtually flat....apparently the only "hero" by your measure would be Clinton; with Carter as a close second ......isn't that a kick? .... ROTFLMAO.
