7,400 Washington Mutual employees were fired last week, several thousand more will lose their jobs as the refi boom screeches to a halt. People are still out of work, jla. That's the reality. And since when do you lend polls any credence?

Just reflects how very uninformed and how much our media can do to inflate the untruths into truths. We were lied to about WMD and this is why we went to war. Not to unseat SADDAM. That was a by product but now everyone is lauding this as a plausible reason to have waged war on another country and unseat a ruler who once was as ally of the U.S against IRAN... Strange bedfellows we keep and then how to undue the lies. Does make me choke too. Reminds of my how the media is now saying that Rush's maid black mailed him.....Now, she is guilty and he isn't. It was the same with O.J. He wasn't guilty, the police who investigated the crime was. Oh, can we twist things around to placate and assuage the ordinary citizen.
