If you're so smart, perhaps you should be writing an article for FA instead of demonstrating your alleged self-evident. intellectual and moral superiority here. You may be a lawyer, but you don't seem particularly judicious in your commentary. Funny, that, though not exactly unusual for conservative lawyers on SI, in my unfornately somewhat extensive experience.

Do you see a problem with not mentioning precedent that might be controlling?

That certainly seems to be the case when people make the claim that UNSC 1441 did not constitute sufficient authority for the US/UK and other Coalition forces to invade Iraq.

But apparently UNSC 678, which 1441 cited as precedent, was.. It "authorized" Desert Storm.

Give 'em hell Carranza... I just had to sneak that in once again.. hehe
