You've mis-represented or mis-understood me(my fault?) several times. Here you speak of throwing money at China, which is terribly generalized(i.e. not representing my view, necessarily), and I can only say that my ideas have clothes, for sure. You state "the more comfortable China's people become, the less inclined they are to overthrow their dictators." In fact if they see the Dictators aren't the source of their comfort, the opposite will likely be the case.
