Twenty years ago, there were approximately 20,000 homeschooled kids. Today, there are 2,000,000, and those numbers are growing. There is hope for the future thanks to parents, like you, who actually care about and care for their children.

tippet, Perhaps you and I have more in common than I thought. I also am a proponent of critical thinking. I learned to think critically in College and particularly in my personal readings in the field of scientific methodology, logic and rhetoric. Learning to enjoy learning and critical thinking are the two most important things you can impart to your son. He will have a tremendous advantage over his peers and I have no doubt that he will excel in the world. You're a wise Dad. I hope you and your family have a great holiday season.
