I don't think that the death penalty should ever be given. When someone commits a heinous crime such as Malvo did they should be incarcerated for life. Four walls, sink, shower and a toilet. One toothbrush. A hard bed and one blanket and your prison uniform. That's it though, no tv, books, no nothing. Your meals come on a tray with no utensils.

I don't like the circular logic used in some cases. It's insane to murder. Therefore if you murder, you're insane. If you're insane then you're not responsible for murder. We're all responsible for what we do. I think that John Allen Muhammad was influential, but ultimately Malvo made the choice to kill another person.

Therefore he should be incarcerated for life. No death sentence.
