Agreed. At least you admit the rather simple point that some of the machines don't leave a voter certified paper audit trail. The voter should be able to verify that their vote was attributed accurately, and if the companies don't want to reveal their source code then it should be mandatory for there to be a back up and voter verified paper trail.
