They did not have much of a choice. We do. Meeting basic (and even advanced) needs are almost a given for many of us. So we get to seek higher order meaning. Dr. Osler advised to "live life in day-tight compartments". When I have mastered this dictum I am going to go whole hog at perfecting simplicity and present awareness! I'm going to spin a whirlwind around this blue ball! Everybody scoot! I laugh at 12 course meals. It is for dilettantes who skip dessert...
