<<generally most of the "yuppie" group is my sense>>

You ain't seen NOTHIN' yet! Not only is their ability to make money through PURE BULLSHIT drying up, but there are TWO GENERATIONS of voters coming, who will STOP the Great Social Security Fraud dead in its TRACKS.

Yep, time for the left wing sewer rats to find ANOTHER country to screw up. Bob Dole is REALLY, REALLY GONE, despite the faint echoes from time to time...

If you REALLY wanted to protect this insignificant and worthless segment, you are missing the boat:

Dump the TAXES on employment and wealth creation.

Dump the TORT LAWYERS.

Dump the chic, fashionable and worthless regulations that prevent growth.

Dump the government programs-stinking with worthless bureaucrats-that suck up the resources that destroy your insignificant job.

Dump the Social Security and Global Warming frauds.

The Chinese and Indians got the massage. You don't seem to get anything at all...

I am not trying to bait you, Liz. I do see your position. I think it is invalid. You seem to think the "yuppies" have some innate claim to their former salaries when in fact they simply do not. Globalization did not happen under Bush and you ought not make such suggestions. It is as if you think Bill "NAFTA" Clinton had all of these protectionist mechanisms in place ensuring the salaries of your "yups" and that as soon as Bush took office, their jobs stormed out of the country, practically within months. That is just not true. The process of globalization has been underway for ages now. Look through your home, friend. Pick up something - ANYTHING. Now turn it upside down and tell us what you see. It has been like this long before Bush.

The yups may think they deserve the salaries they once pulled down. But what they think means absolutely Jack Z. Squat if the market disagrees with them. They may not enjoy having to compete against some Indian, but let us face the facts: they are not undergoing anything that manufacturing workers haven't been enduring for the last thirty years. What you are seeing here is the natural result of technology.

Now, it is up to your yups to step up to the challenge. They must provide a better product than the Indians, find other work or perish. And that is exactly the way it ought to be. No one owes them one darned thing. Don't you agree with this?

Globalization has been a policy that has been supported by both Clinton and Bush admins. It is in the interests of the corporations, wall street and the large shareholders as they benefit the most from offshoring.

Regardless of who is in power this trend benefits the current crop of capitalists as they accumulate more capital and will affect the middle class professionals/worker bee who will be the most impacted. There is so much supply of highly qualified cheap labor in India and China that the middle class worker bee has no chance competing however good he or she is in their profession. You can find the same quality work for much less cost.

So look forward to an America where if you are a capitalist with good starting capital base you are gonna make some good return on the globalization profits and a whole sea of blue collar workers who were formerly middle class. Mind you all this will happen with great economic growth. Just the growth will all go the current capitalist base.

Sorry guys/gals, if you don't have capital think about being on the unemployment roll soon!

One way this can be quickly resolved is if the dollar takes a huge devaluation with the Yuan or Rupee. That is the only hope for the worker bees to stay competitive. But you know the capitalists would hate a weak dollar as all their assets are now devalued.

Time to buy stock in the offshoring companies.
