You've made some mighty astute posts there. Hope others pay attention to them. IMHO ALL any President can do is encourage Congress to enact legislation that promotes a business friendly environment to aid in economic progress and thus ultimately job creation. IMHO Bush is doing exactly that. Clinton was lucky for two reasons, to begin with Bush Senior also promoted such an environment that was just kicking in as Clinton got elected and secondly the Y2K scare created an INCREDIBLE economic boom in technology that gave people like Lizzie a really strong hand for the temporary situation. When that ended, the overheated economy took a dive (especially in the techs) and if it hadnt been for some of the Bush initiatives it probably would still be diving. I agree with all your comments regarding overseas job creation. jdn
