Howard Dean , A wealthy M.D. and former Governor of Vermont is originally from Brooklyn, NY. He has kept his government records and his wife locked away with orders that both stay sealed Both Howard Dean's father and grandfather were top executives at Dean Witter Reynolds and were both fabulously wealthy. Was Dean's grandfather a founding partner of Dean Witter Reynolds. I ask because it's hard to believe that it's chance that Dean's grandfather worked at the firm and his last name is part of the company's name. (Dean Witter Reynolds is commonly known as just "Dean Witter" and was recently purchased by Morgan Stanley.) Howard Dean's wife's maden name is Steinberg (full name: Judith Steinberg; she kept her own name, but seems to be pulling a Hillary Rodham and adding her married name for her husband's political career). Steinberg's press for the campaign is funneled through Susan Allen, Gov. Dean's former press secretary, who explained that the good doctor could not speak to Salon because of a particularly grueling hospital schedule. "Setting up an interview means canceling a patient," said Allen, "and she hates to do that." Eventually, Allen said, Steinberg will "do what Governor Dean asks her to do. (really?)If he feels strongly that at some point she needs to make some appearances, I'm sure she will." But until then, the Dean campaign's second most important figure is a woman who quite bluntly refuses to put her husband's career before her own. Don't know if they were raised Jewish, but one of the teenage sons was recently arrested for allegedly stealing liquor. Dean's wife is Jewish. As for their children, they "identify" as Jewish, according to this story, but were not formally raised as Jewish: Howard Dean came under fire from an Iowa newspaper last weekend for an answer to a questionnaire in which he implied that his brother was serving in the military when he disappeared in Laos 29 years ago. His brother had been traveling in Southeast Asia as a tourist. His brother wan an anti American, anti war civilian activist who believed he could show Americans how to make pace with the communists. Asked by The Quad-City Times, which is based in Davenport, Iowa, to complete the sentence "My closest living relative in the armed services is," Dr. Dean wrote in August, "My brother is a POW/MIA in Laos, but is almost certainly dead." The brother, 23-year-old Charles Dean, whose apparent remains were recovered by a military search team last month in Laos, was classified as missing in action, along with other civilians captured or killed in the area during the Vietnam War. But Charles Dean never wore a uniform, and while some family members at times suspected that he was working as a spy, Dr. Dean said he never believed that. He was killed by communists and buried in a mass grave. He held beliefs similar to those of his Brother who has stated that he would make friends with Hussein and terrorsits. but, has not stated how he would accomplish those goals. A Howard Dean Assistant recently denied the claim made by Presidential hopeful Wesley Clark that Howard Dean offered him the Vice Presidential position. Dean has had problems remembering taht the Soviet Union is dismantled and has continued to identify Russia as the Soviet Union. He also recently created a stir by claiming that the Nation is still not safe despite the capture of Saddam Hussein. Hussein the former dictator of Iraq was responsible for the extermination of hundreds of thousands of Curds and fellow Iraqi's. It was not uncommon for Iraqis to be tied up two at a time and shot by Husseins thugs. As a way to save bullets. Hussein also gassed Iranian soldiers during the Iran-Iraq war. Howard Dean insists Hussein was not a threat and has vehemetly opposed the war in Iraq. Dean has been criticized by Presidentail candiate Joe Lieberman, An Orthodox Jew and former running mate of Democrat Al Gore. Gore recently endorsed Howard dean for President. Snubbing his former running mate Joe Lieberman. Lieberman has been a harsh critic of Dean and has stuck to his conservative Core values. WHile both Dean and Gore have been accused of flip flopping on many issues. Gore as you may recall voted pro life over 15 Times while claiming to be pro choice and was tainted by his ties to the many Clinton scandels. Both Gore and Dean come from wealthy and powerful white families with links to big business Howard Dean Continues to be the Democratic parties strongest NRA supporter. Maybe bigger than Bush

While I don't appreciate Howard Dean at all, I find it very difficult to believe anyone would make such comparisons as are in the paragraph below. Unless this guy is in outer space, I feel it must be a hoax article. "Just because Saddam was a brutal genocidal dictator doesn't mean that America has the right to go and depose him," Governor Dean said as he addressed the Annual Meeting of the Transgendered Vegetarians Association. "When you get right down to it, George W. Bush isn't any better than Saddam. Why, there are still transgendered vegetarians in this country who have to endure daily discrimination and the Bush Administration hasn't done one thing to alleviate their suffering. That's far worse than anything Saddam has done."
