I didn't serve in the Armed Services myself (almost Air Force, but that's a long story). I am proud of the fact that I didn't participate in anti-war protests in college during the Vietnam War, at the time I couldn't stand how the veterans were treated on their return from that war and was vocal about it. LOL!!!! I could have written that! Fits to a tee! Even to the "almost Air Force, but that's a long story" part!
