abstract,

But wasn't Samuel L. Jackson phenomenal in that role? No one else could have pulled that off as well.

"At the risk of being too honest, too often in the past you've sounded (to me) like Jules, in Pulp Fiction..."

I see. You can't point to anything specific (even though
there are more than 10k choices to select from), so you
directly associate me to a wacko gangster who quotes the
bible & blithely slaughters people. Quite revealing indeed.

"I have difficulty with Jules' attitude. It doesn't seem that there is much room for another opinion."

Again, you can't quote me specifically, so you impune my
reputation again. You can't argue specifics or refute the
credible information I use to from my opinions, so you
attack me & impune my reputation instead.

"I tend to believe, that in most things, there is not one truth, but many shades and that I benefit from hearing the multiplicity."

Ah, again, you can't refute the factual accuracy of the
wide swath of information I gather to form my POV, you
can't point to anything specific that supports your POV,
so it's back to reliance on sweeping generalities that
make great sound bites, yet, in reality, prove absolutely
nothing.<font size=3>

"Your batch of replies to my most recent post shows latitude and humility that I had not previously seen. I appreciate that."

Actually, it takes latitude & humility to force oneself to
look beyond one's own bias, to acknowledge one's bias & to
force yourself to give consideration to POV's that differ
from one's bias while forming/changing one's own POV or
taking a firm stand against faulty POV's.

BTW, this post tell it straight up......

"What Seems True Easily Remains Aloof."

Again with your consistent impugning the factually
accurate information I've presented in our discussion with
another sweeping generality. No doubt it makes you feel
good & allows you to perceive that you have once again
proved that you are right & I am wrong.

Sorry, but all you have done is generally pooh-pooh'd a
plethora of accurate information with hardly any specific
rebuttals throughout this whole discussion.

I'm quite unimpressed.
