calypsi: So that is your trick. I should do that when I am in Europe on Biz--being 6-7 hours ahead, I can see what happened then place my bets (something is wrong here!!-just kidding). With the Canadian markets closed on Friday--VSGN up 25 cents on continuing high vol (roughly quarter mil). The legs of the buy in by USA based folks is much stronger than anticipated. WE shall see if it continues for much longer. VAS on TO should play 31 cents of catch up quickly--then we shall watch the vol on VSGN for signs. My other favs continue to be ECA, THY, TKE in energy (Toronto) and BR on NYSE. In Gold--WRM.TO (WHT in USA) is my fav gold--with CTQ and LIM on TO as the commodity fill out (copper etc). Drillers--I like MDI and ESI on Toronto Other good solid US Energy stocks SWN, OKE and EGN (gas dist and in SWN case E&P as well). . VLO looks interesting---but not sure yet In the play offs--well the Ravens look interesting--but, I have to go with Tenn. Wish Vick had another half season to go. Florida is beautiful--72 degree days and 50 degree nights Best wishes Tom D.
