Jim's wife is Karen Cramer. He referred to her as the "Trading Goddess" on his radio show until she apparently complained. Now she's the "Homemaking Goddess." They met at Goldman Sachs when he was first starting out. She was a trader who apparently was quite good, a TA type. In a hilarious passage of his book, he asked her on one of their early dates, in a very pregnant relationship moment, "So, what do you think of Compaq here at $19?" She gave a straight answer and he thought to himself, "I'm going to marry this gal." Another aspect I liked about her was that she would sell off his losers when he went to the bathroom! If you like it so much buy it back, she'd tell him. She worked with him in the hedge fund until the kids were born. In his book he pays great homage to her.
